We are a full-time, full-service, print-based Studio specializing in finished art from every session for every family. The power of print is at the heart of everything we do. Our families create their orders with our guidance and expertise with the power of projection. When they come to receive their finished pieces, we hear comments every time that prove this truth: experiencing a photograph in print is a different and a more meaningful experience than on a screen. Deep down, we all know that a photograph you can hold or enjoy daily hanging in your home holds infinite value. A photograph connects new generations to old, holds a piece of history, represents legacy, and tugs on our heartstrings.

Hello and Welcome! I’m Jennifer McCandless, a newborn, maternity, baby, family and high school senior photographer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I’m married to my best friend and have two adorable little girls with the sweetest little personalities ever. As for photography, I offer on location photo sessions and I have a comfortable studio for my precious newborn clients. I like my clients to feel comfy and not like they are at a mall studio where they are rushed or treated like a dime a dozen…I’ve had those experiences. I will keep shooting until I feel like I’ve gotten the best images I can. You will often hear me say, “Okay, just one more” and I’ll shoot 20 more pictures! My style is fun, colorful and fresh. I don’t like all of my images to look the same, I always want to be doing something new and creative.

Hey there! I’m Jen Lints. I live for love, a good cup of coffee, a snuggle, an adventure and time with girlfriends. I’m a lover of antiques, beauty in the ordinary, details, big blankets, my man, my little rascals and Jesus. Telling your story through pictures is my job. I vow to help make you feel beautiful, natural and comfortable in front of my lens. My goal is to capture those imbetween moments. The real ones. The ones that catch your breath. The ones that make times stand still. The ones we long for when loved ones have flown away. Those are the images I want to deliver. The joyful moments you can reflect on, remember and celebrate.

There is a special honor that comes with providing images that become a part of peoples family history. It gives me goosebumps to envision someone’s great grandchildren viewing photos that I took of their wedding or newborn! No matter what the setting or event, my goal is to photograph in a way that truly captures your personality. I specialize in photographing families, weddings, newborns, and seniors. My style is a mix between traditional, candid and lifestyle.

When asked what kind of photography Melissa does, she describes herself as being an “Emotive” Photographer.We’re not talking ‘romantic’ love here (although she does see that too) – but she has the unique ability to capture the in-between moments. She creates beautiful portraits, but it’s so much more than that… Her talent is bringing the soul to light. It’s magic. Melissa is drawn to newborn sessions and the golden-hour sessions, where long shadows and soft light brings a romance and there’s a good chance that you will get choked up when you first see your gallery. Melissa has a way to make “stiff” and “posed” sessions to be more loosened up. She does a great job at encouraging clients to loosen up and play with their littles – your session is about capturing, joy, love, and happiness. Capturing the real you, in whatever form that may be.

Mothers should be celebrated and supported whether they are a new mom or seasoned pro! I am passionate about helping mothers feel confident and proud of their bodies and their work by photographing their glow. I offer professional maternity, newborn, baby and family photography to celebrate mothers and those they care for. I offer complimentary NICU photography for families who would like to capture their baby’s first moments before they arrive home.
