When asked what kind of photography Melissa does, she describes herself as being an “Emotive” Photographer.We’re not talking ‘romantic’ love here (although she does see that too) – but she has the unique ability to capture the in-between moments. She creates beautiful portraits, but it’s so much more than that… Her talent is bringing the soul to light. It’s magic. Melissa is drawn to newborn sessions and the golden-hour sessions, where long shadows and soft light brings a romance and there’s a good chance that you will get choked up when you first see your gallery. Melissa has a way to make “stiff” and “posed” sessions to be more loosened up.
